|Description||This module deals with two main topics: Nyquist rate data conversion systems and non-linear device applications. The material in data conversion systems deals with the fundamental circuit structures used for conversion, the limitations of these circuits, and the impact these limitations have on device performance and specification. In non-linear device applications, students are introduced to a range of application areas not previously dealt with in the course. The treatment here includes waveform generation techniques which are used in a number of other areas of the course, such as data converters, and switching power supplies.||A brief description of the module.|
